Triple-X Productions presented the first annual P-Fest, the official Parkdale Festival After-Party at Rangzen Cafe, 1600 Queen St West, in the heart of Parkdale. Saturday August 26, 2006.
Doors open at 9pm with limited capacity for this licensed event. It's a night of experimental atmospheric creations never to be repeated. Things get heated up early in the evening with Toronto's own Bad Robots, Evil Doer (cyberoptic electronics) hitting the stage at 10pm followed by now-defunct kQuattro (ghettotech) playing a one-off performance tonight only.
Funky Brooklyn hip hop duo, Mad Happy, shake things up around midnight, followed by Montreal electro masters, Duchess Says, closing the showcase
DJ sets by Mikey Apples and Delicious Tits keep things hopping between sets and into the wee hours of the morning.
